How to become a SCOPE Member
SCOPE Accredited sessionsParticipants must be able to prove that they attended a SCOPE accredited event by producing the certificate of attendance. This will be verified against the sign sheets. View SCOPE accredited sessions. The number of points allocated to a meeting/lecture/session is based on the length of time, as demonstrated below.
N.B. A maximum of 3 points can be gained by attending lectures at international congresses and a maximum of 4 points can be gained by attending any one meeting. Online course and assessmentThe assessment of the SCOPE online Course consists of 20 multiple choice questions, of which 75% must be answered correctly to gain SCOPE Membership. The assessment can be taken a multiple number of times, however you are required to read the online manual before you can take the assessment. Register today to take the online course. What happens once I have completed the online assessment?Successful completion of the online course and attendance at live SCOPE events will equip the professional with the knowledge to successfully manage obese and overweight patients. A certificate will be issued once you have successfully completed the online assessment. A second certificate will be issued for SCOPE membership after evidence has been obtained.
